You know the story of the poor man who prays to God asking for him to win the lottery? 

Goes like this...

One day a poor guy prays to God, asking for him to win the lottery.
He did this everyday. Prayed for hundreds of days, several of years, to win the lottery.
Nothing happens.
'Til one day he realized and asked himself, "Why have I not won the lottery? I have been praying for all these years now..."
God finally spoke to him and said, "Son, buy a ticket."
